How does the concept of globalization vs imperialism impact the distribution of power and resources on a global scale?

Globalization and imperialism both involve the spread of influence and control across borders, but they differ in their methods and goals. Globalization focuses on interconnectedness and mutual benefit, while imperialism often involves domination and exploitation. The impact on power and resources is complex, as globalization can lead to more equal distribution through trade and cooperation, while imperialism can concentrate power and resources in the hands of a few dominant nations or groups.
