All of us at one time or another feel like the world has caved in on us and we can go through many emotions and perhaps that's what happened to your wife. If you still love your wife and she has never split-up with you before then meet with her and discuss things and if you don't feel she had a good enough reason to leave, then I'd continue on with your new lifestyle and new lady friend, but, if you feel the both of you can make it I'd give it a shot.
