*accommodation of diversity : in any society people are bound to have diverse beliefs , faiths and opinions.

*enhancing human dignity : people should be not discriminated on the basis of caste , color , gender , place of birth , religion , property etc.

*universal adult franchise : every adult citizen without any discrimination on the basis of status , caste , color , religion , gender , education , property or any other qualification has been provided right to vote.
