depends on how long the government takes to work out if they are real refugees
In Australia we lock them up, they stay in Immigration Detention Centres offshore. If they are legit we persecute them, if they are false we send them back to where they came from.
Refugees are going through a lot and don't live a normal life like we do. Imagine having war in your country and know it is not safe enough to stay. You want to go to another country for protection but you need to be a citizen. But that takes a long wait and you don't have a place to stay. Some refugees skip the long wait and come on illegal boats or planes. These people are Illegal Immigrants and Refugees at the same time. Those that come in illegal boats or planes stay in a place called a Detention Centre. They wait there a long time and wait to hear what the Government will do with them. Imagine being a person like that.
Teachers shouldn't be allowed to keep Kids in during dinner time. ITS MEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAN!!!
A refugee camp
I believe that children should be locked up in juvenile detention center instead of going to adult jails. This allows time for reform.Answerim doing a debate at school and i have to say: Yes, they should and they can, because in or out their still in our country and they will end up treating us like dirt, whats the point ... they have a country, stay there!! they'll proburly be racist to us anyway, but children, i have no say they should just stay with their parents whereever they go. i know it sounds awful but its the truth. Children should be locked up in detention!
Because they can learn more about were are they?
Australia only gets 0.1% (14,780) of the worlds total refugees. most refugees stay in their same country, just move to a different section or just cross the border into their neighbouring country.
i think he was in the dention centre for 6 months
Legal refugees are individuals who have been granted refugee status by a government or international organization and have the legal right to reside in a certain country. Illegal refugees, on the other hand, are individuals who enter a country without authorization or proper documentation and do not have legal permission to stay.
MEPS centres do not have their own living facilities, so you stay at a hotel.
It depends. In the US, if you are a US citizen, and not under arrest for suspicion of a crime, none at all; there are no mandatory laws for carrying ID so long as you are law abiding. I under arrest, until you are identified. If you are an undocumented alien, long enough for you to be transported to an ICE detention facility and deported.
Because Ethiopia's government collapsed and the refugees may have been persecuted there as well.
