Colonialism impacted by putting Zambia into severe debt which is still felt today. British Colonies loaned money to Zambia under the condition that they were to control all mineral and major exports. Zambia along with other South African Countries agreed in turn these colonies loaned billion of dollars. However Zambia had to pay this money back with interest much like a bank loan and many of their resources had been stripped by these british colonies who sold things such as copper to thriving nations. In the end Zambia owed billions of dollars, had few trained workers, and little resources.
Yes. It was under British control. It became independent in 1964.
British colonialism in Zambia, then known as Northern Rhodesia, resulted in significant social, economic, and political changes. The extraction of mineral resources, particularly copper, led to economic growth but also entrenched inequalities and dependence on foreign investment. Colonial policies marginalized local governance structures and disrupted traditional societies, fostering resistance movements that ultimately contributed to Zambia's independence in 1964. The legacy of colonialism continues to influence Zambia's socio-economic landscape today.
because I'm smart like that....lol...haha?!?!?!
French colonialism in Haiti had a devastating impact on the country. It led to the brutal exploitation of enslaved Africans on plantations, resulting in widespread suffering, violence, and death. This exploitation also contributed to the deep-rooted economic inequalities and social divisions that continue to affect Haiti today.

Post-colonialism refers to the study of the lasting impact and consequences of colonialism on societies that were once colonized. It focuses on how power dynamics, cultural norms, and social structures have been shaped by the legacy of colonial rule. Post-colonial theorists examine issues of identity, representation, and resistance in the context of decolonization and independence movements.
