Gandhi used nespapers as ways to disseminate his teachings, to comment on ethical, political, and social issues. He also addressed questions posed to him from followers, opponents, and seekers. The last of Ganhi's three newspapers was Harijan, which he founded in 1933 after failing to achieve nationalist goals through civil protest see (Power, P., (1976).
