Judges do not typically run for election on a political party ticket. They are supposed to be unbiased and would ideally exercise judicial responsibilities without regard for Republicans or Democrats liking or disliking their decisions. Usually people want to know which way a judge leans to determine what they might decide in future cases. The best way to do this is not to ask about Conservative, Liberal, Republican, or Democrat, but rather look at the public records for cases the judge has decided. They will be available for free online or at your courthouse. At the courthouse you may have to pay a small photocopy fee to get your own copies printed out.
