Senator
Governor John Hickenlooper.
Politically appointed as Secretary of State. Militarily, he was the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the highest ranking Military Officer of all services.
A “top”state official would have to at some point come to an agreement with the governor.
Governor
The top executive official of any state government in the United States is the governor. State governments are set up fairly similar to the federal government. They have legislative, executive, and judicial branches. The president is the top executive in the United States while the governor is the top executive of a state government.
You're mixing terms. A governor is the top position in a state government, while a city has a mayor. Obama was neither.
The Attorney General.
One will find that the top pay for a conservation officer will depend on which state they work for. The top three states include Maryland (average pay is $67,430), California (average pay is $65,730), and Nevada (average pay is $61,620).
it is right below governor
I'd say: Senator's, Congressmen, Govorner's, Attorrney Generals, All the States have at least these official's in them, Hope this helped?
