Voting is good. It is a means by which citizens participate in a democracy. If citizens do not participate in a democracy, then there will be no democracy, and the alternative is some form of autocracy, and that generally does not work out well.
Different countries in Europe have different systems for voting, so depending on which country you are in, there are lots of ways of voting.
on people voting the sayed yes BUT KENNY CHESNEY IS BETTER
people will not vote if they do not like the candidate or the party or if the weather is bad, or just plain personal reasons.
I don't think voting should be mandatory. People shouldn't be forced to vote. What if people think that both people running for election won't be good leaders, they would be forced to vote for someone they won't trust. What if people that are not well educated make a bad decision and the person they chose wins and they turn out to be a bad leader.
It was a bad principle to have one state at a time voting - it attracted every bully-boy in America (from both sides) to descend on a thinly-populated state and intimidate the voters.
Voting is critical to maintaining a representative system.
