What are the good things about dictatorship?

Pro: Fast decision making (the decision does not need to pass through many layers of parliament)

Pro: Cheaper (no need to pay for elections)

Pro: Fast disaster releif (the dictator can tell people where to live)

Pro: one guy calls the shots

Con: That one guy could be an idiot or worse

1) The dictators help the country to develop and to get stronger from its earlier debts.

2) The dictators can control riots and protests through the police making everything seem under control.

3)They can change peoples lives and the city forever.

1) Some of the dictators are ruthless, so they murder lots of people, including most of his/her party members.

2)Many people starved, suffered and died during these dictatorships.

3)Some dictators exceed their Dictatorship rule when they are not supposed to do that.

The positive is that a wise and benevolent dictator can get things done quickly and efficiently.

The problem is that there is no way to get rid of a bad dictator and no easy way to replace a good one. The passing of a dictator creates a power struggle that tends to disrupt the country. If there is some line of succession that automatically names the new dictator. there is no guarantee that he or she will be a good ruler. Heirs to the throne also have a tendency to murdered by someone farther up the line or a powerful general.

No, dictatorship itself is not inherently bad; the pronlem is when you have a bad dictator. Dictatorship with the right man in charge can be qute a good thing.
