Henry VIII DID makes mistakes, everyone does! However his were pretty big!!! i will not include much about his wives because being a king, and being a husband are two diffrent things! so here goes: Henry VIII had many faults, for example he took all the money from nuns and monks, took their monasteries and gave them to his friends as fine houses! Henry would also kill (e.g. behead) anybody who proved a threat to his son, as well as anybody who disagreed with Henry's opinion. He was also a very lazy man, he had many servants (not a shock!) for example there was one to read aloud to him , and another to clean his royal regions!! (his behind). As well as that Henry beheaded two of his wives , and he ignored his daughter, Elizabeth I who became one of England's best rulers. He was ruthless in destroying anyone who offered him the slightest opposition. His former chancellor, Thomas More, was executed because he would not acknowledge Henry as head of the church of England. He executed Thomas Cromwell, who had been his loyal servant, because he didn't like his fourth wife, Anne of Cleaves whom Cromwell had picked out for him. (Anne of Cleaves was lucky, he divorced her and allowed her to live in comfort in England, she outlived him). Henry made himself head of the church, taking away the monasteries , nuns , monks and with them the alms, medical care & education provided by the nuns and monks to the people.
