For example, they are against abortion, gay marriage, and the legalization of Marijuana. they also want less less regulations on most corporations and financial institutions. They mostly believe in the 'Trickle-Down Theory.' The modern Republican party, contrary to what the party stands for, are also for wealth distribution, however it's slightly different and stated quietly.
