The Queen visited William Ellis School and Parliament Hill school in 1979 . Her majesty heard a performance of the first movement of Mozart's 40th symphony in the William Eliis school hall before being introduced to the Physics department where she spoke to electronics expert, pupil Paul Jackson, who had built the school's microcomputer and later tutored at Parliament Hill. I am not sure in which order the Queen visited the schools, nor do I know what she got up to in Parliament School- in those days the schools were more separate than they are now.
