A Dictatorship is almost like an absolute monarchy where the ruler has absolute power in decision making. The difference, however, is that in a dictatorship, the leader/ruler is not born into power, they have to overthrow the previous ruler to come into power. Often, they come into power with much support from the people, promising change and to fix the problems with the government, but over time, the power corrupts them and they lose their sensibility.
