First of all they broke the law,by that the neglected the priviliges the had. Also if they see a person who will help them by saying ''It's not there fault it's the societies fault.'' of course they will vote for that person.Even though they are humans they still have no equall right's because they chose the wrong way. However if they get out of jail and they vote they would vote for people we would not vote for. Anyways they are criminals, bad people, they should not by all means have voting rights

It seems to me that with rights (like the rite to vote) should come responsibilities (like the responsibility not to commit crimes against other members of your society).
It seems correct therefore are as a citizen fails to deliver on living up to his/her responsibilities, they should proportionately lose their rights.

The civil status of a prisoner refers to their legal status and rights while incarcerated, which can include their marital status, parental rights, and other legal responsibilities. Generally, prisoners retain certain civil rights, but these can be limited depending on the jurisdiction and the nature of their conviction. For example, they may lose the right to vote or hold public office. The treatment and rights of prisoners can vary widely across different legal systems and countries.
