Actually it's Princess Beatrice of York daughter of Prince Andrew who is the younger brother of Princess Anne. Succession is according to the rules of male-preference cognatic primogeniture under which sons inherit before daughters, and under which elder children inherit before younger ones of the same sex.
Anne was the last Stuart to sit in the British throne.
The next female in line for the throne is Princess Beatrice of York. She is currently fifth in line for the throne assuming that Prince William and Kate do not have a daughter.
