Guillaume Kigbafori Soro was the Prime Minister of the Ivory Coast in 2011.

Formerly a leader of the Patriotic Movement of Côte d'Ivoire, Soro led the civil war against Gbagbo's government in 2002. As part of a peace settlement, Soro became Minister of Communications in 2003. However, the government continued to be unstable, with members of the opposition boycotting the government and resigning from posts on and off for several years. Following the end of the civil war, Soro was appointed as Prime Minister on 2007 April 4. After the 2010 November presidential elections, Soro accepted Ouattra as the new President, and resigned from his post as per convention. He was reappointed by Ouattra as Prime minister shortly after, serving until 2012 March 13.

After the 2010 election, Gbagbo also claimed victory, appointing Gilbert Aké as Prime Minister on December 6. However, after Gbagbo's arrest on 2011 April 11, this appointment was deemed to be void.
