Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister, NOT a dictator, and although the Government had to act as a coalition and adopt emergency powers in various ways for the duration of the War, Great Britain remained a parliamentary democracy. The comment about being controlled by your specific but unidentified bankers is pure fantasy. No-one wanted war but it was the only way to stop Adolf Hitler's drive to create his "Third Reich" by military invasion. Hitler had not wanted war with Britain if he could have had his own way entirely, but he certainly wanted Britain under Nazi control, and he was perfectly prepared to use military force to do so. As he proved, but luckily for us British forces destroyed his invasion plans..
