Well Henry divorced Catherine of Aragon because he said that when she got to the age of 40 she was old and boring. He divorced Anne of Cleaves because when he saw her in real life ( he origionaly saw her in a pianting) he said she looked like a "fat mare"!

It is a myth that Henry VIII killed "so many" of his wives, he only had 2 beheaded and he had actual real reasons to condem them to death. The first one was Anne Boylen, who was tried and killed for treason for cheating, and for sleeping with her brother(may be false), did cheat on Henry with other men in the court. The next wife to be killed is Katherine Howard who was younger then Henry by at least 20 years and flaunted her court affairs in the Kings face.
