A1. age groups; and

A2. By gender.

B. The political views of elected officials can be analyzed. If winning candidates offer views against military spending or the opposite, then the culture towards the military can be gauged. This applies to many issues from education spending, to NASA projects.

C. A study of a nations media can be analyzed, this includes newspapers and TV. Have the voters elected candidates that the majority of mainstream media has endorsed? If yes or no, this is an indicator of the influence of the media on political culture.

D. The number of "third parties" and the number of votes they receive is an important method. As example, if a small political party receives an abnormally high number of votes it can mean that the two major parties has not resonated with many people.
