How do you beat the hydra if you already beat it on Mythology Island?

You battle the five-headed Hydra in the "gnarly monster" cave within the underwater realm of Poseidon. The Hydra will try to strike you by thrusting out one of its heads. When it does, you must be ready to jump before it does, then land on top of the head, knocking it out. Repeat this for all five heads, then swim below to get a scale from the defeated monster.

(*outside and above the cave is the Giant Pearl which you also need.)

When you get close to the Hydra in its cave, it will try to hit you with one of its five heads. Before it hits you, jump up, then come down on top of the head. This will knock it out. Repeat this for the other four heads, but don't take too long or some heads may wake up.

When it is beaten, swim below and get a scale from the Hydra.

There's more than one of the mythological "monsters" :

Cerberus

To defeat the three-headed dog in the underworld you have to play the music from the sheet on your reed pipe : BLUE GREEN YELLOW BLUE RED GREEN . That will put the dog to sleep while you get the whisker by clicking on him.

Hydra

The monster in the ocean cave is the five-headed Hydra. Stand near it and wait until it is about to strike, then simply jump up and land on the attacking head. Repeat this until all the heads are knocked out, and get the scale by clicking on him from below.

Minotaur

If you count the Minotaur as a monster, you must make your way through the labyrinth then click the red-eyed snake three times .

Cerberus, the three-headed dog in Hades underworld, is defeated with music. Get your reed pipe from your items and play the following notes:

blue - green - yellow - blue - red - green *

Now you can get the sacred item (a whisker).

* The song is from the statue of Euterpe in the Temple of Muses. To get the song, you had to pass the music test, repeating a string of 1 to 8 musical notes (the same pattern each time with a new note at the end).

The 5-headed "gnarly monster" in the underwater cave is the Hydra. To defeat it, get close and it will strike out at you with one of its heads. Before it can hit you, jump up and come down on top of the head, knocking it out. Repeat this for the other four heads before any of them can wake up. Then swim under the Hydra to get the scale (one of the 5 sacred items). Just outside the cave is the oyster that has the Giant Pearl.

Once you have the scale from the Hydra, you shouldn't have to beat it again. Check your items to see if you received the Scale, because you need to bring all 5 items back to the Tree of Immortality.

To beat the Hydra, you have to stun all the heads. So when one of the heads is shaking, jump before it hits you and land on its head.

To get the whisker from Cerberus, play the reed pipe song taught to you by Euterpe in the Temple of Muses. The song is : blue-green-yellow-blue-red-green.

To beat the Hydra, wait until it starts to attack with one of its heads. Jump up at the last second so that you land on top of the head, knocking it out. Repeat for the other four heads.
