what did the Cheyenne tribe hunt
The Bannock tribe derives its name from the Bannock people who originally inhabited the Great Basin region, particularly around present-day Idaho and Nevada. The name is believed to come from the word "banak," which refers to their traditional food, a type of flatbread. The Bannocks were also known for their interactions with neighboring tribes and settlers, which contributed to the adoption of the name in historical records.
