As you go through the underwater maze, stay near the top, then down the right, and across the bottom, until you reach the "gnarly monster" sign. The giant clam with the pearl is just up and left of the cave entrance.

Enter the realm of Poseidon through his temple, using the starfish from his statue in the museum. Go left and take Aphrodite's test. Then enter the water and dive where it is marked. Go across the top, down the right side, and across the bottom of the maze. The clam with the giant pearl is just above the entrance to the Hydra's cave.

(Jump for it when the shell is closed, and it will open up.)

Jump toward the clam when it is closed. You should get to it just as it opens and grab the pearl. If you wait until it has been open, it may close and hurt you.

(This is one of the few cases of an extended "stun" in Poptropica, as you may have to float all the way to the bottom before you revive.)
