It could be a few things depending on what the person's like..It could be because he likes you.It could be because he's just a bit odd.It could be because he just thought you were good looking?
Well if you take that self-esteem equates to your own feelings of self-worth the start point is to work out why you have a low opinion of yourself? There are lots of models of self-esteem but the majority look at you feelings of self-worth through two dimensions. The first is how competent you feel about being able to live life - at work, with friends, in sports etc. If you don't feel you have this competence you need to start building it a little bit at a time. Plus make sure you ask your friends how they see you. Often you will think you are worse at something than the people around you. The second dimension is called self-worth this is about whether you feel valued and respected by others and how much respect you have for yourself. Here you should sit and reflect on all the things that are good about you. There is an assumption in the question that you have to develop your self-esteem. But that may not be right. There is quite a bit of evidence to say those with lower self-esteem are just cautious and those with high self-esteem can be quite nasty. There is a link below to a free resource on building self-confidence and how to influence the way you feel
It's a bit rubbish really.
It depends on the person. Being histrionic (overly and dramatically emotional) doesn't automatically make you in love with anyone, let alone your therapist. I suppose that being histrionic could make it more likely, because you tend to make everything more dramatic and see friendship as romantic... always taking things a little bit too far. But it isn't something that always happens, and definitely depends on the person.
The best place to start is always the beginning. Tell a bit about the history of each theory, such as who started it and why. Once you have the proponents of each theory covered, get into the commonalities and differences among them.
