Hair color is not actually related to intelligence or stupidity; that is a myth
Actually, not completely, upper answer. Intelligent people have more copper and zinc in there hair and copper leads to a darker hair color, were as blonds are the lightest. But that doesn't mean ALL blonds are dumb. I am a blond and I am on the A honor role, so it can go both ways. BLONDS ARE DUMB
Intelligence is not determined by hair color. Making assumptions based on physical appearances or stereotypes can be harmful and unfair. It is important to treat everyone with respect and judge people based on their actions and character, rather than their appearance.
I am blond, i am not dum
The stereotype of "dumb blondes" likely originated from Hollywood films in the 20th century that often portrayed blond women as naive or unintelligent characters. This stereotype perpetuated the idea that blondes were more concerned with their appearance than their intelligence. Over time, this stereotype became ingrained in popular culture, although it is important to recognize that it is a harmful and inaccurate stereotype.
The oldest simile for 'as dumb as' is 'As dumb as a doornail'. Others include: As dumb as a wet noodle. As dumb as an unpowered computer. As dumb as a library with no books.
It is a stereotype that is not true or fair. Hair color does not determine intelligence, and attributing certain characteristics to someone based on their appearance is not accurate or respectful. Intelligence is a complex trait that varies among individuals regardless of their hair color.
really, "dumb stuff" depends on the person observing something to be dumb.
Dutiful But Dumb was created in 1941.
Not every one thinks blonds are dumb. the reason however for the dumb blond jokes stem from the the dumb blonds they used to portray in the old movies.
Sterio type
Dumb blonds are just a stereotype.
yes
Yes. Sadly it is. But people shouldn't be so stereotypical. I'm a blond and I am far from dumb. I have my moments but so do brunettes and redheads. So don't start stereotyping people. Another reason that it's foolish to stereotype people because they are blonds is that so many blonds are not actually blonds.
Answer: Hair color has nothing to do with one's intellect. It's a stereotype; ignore it.
Well they are very funny, and it's not like all blonds are dumb.
Considering most blonds aren't really natural blonds, the chemicals that they use to bleach their hair soaks down into their brain, therefore killing brain cells. So yes, Brunettes have more brain cells than blonds. Also blonds in movies are dumb. And love doing IT!!
"Blonds" is the English word for blonds.
Because typically blonde haired people tend to ask ridiculous questions and/or act in a way that people would classify as dumb.
all Italians are in the mob all Americans are fat all Mexicans have a sombrero all blonds are dumb all dark hairs are smart
Though I will be the first to admit that I love blond jokes and that we all know that it is typically known that blonds are dumb, it's nothing but a stereotype and somewhat untrue, there are dumb brunettes or redheads, some that are dumb as blonds. Unfortunately, due to people like Marilyn Monroe, the "dumb" blond fad was kick started again and hasn't changed. (no disrespect to her, but her movies she did play a very dumb blond and that generally rubs off to a persons perception of you in real life)I find myself attracted to blonds as well, for some reason I love the usual light complexion (on natural blonds that is) there is just something sexy about a blond, no offense to brunettes are red heads, I have attraction for those too, but something about a blond just gets to me.So I think it's a matter of taste according to the guy and has nothing to do with intellect, nor does the color of one's hair make them dumber or smarter, most of the time.and now to end this with a blond joke....What do you call a blond that dyes her hair brunette?Artificial intelligence....
