People who like music aren't necessarily sentimental, but music can be pretty emotional, because you might really like and relate to a song that expresses a lot of emotion.
Another word for sentimental would be affectionate. You could also say idealistic or nostalgic.
it means to be emotional
Emotional
Most people on this question would come up with something rude. But I'm not going to say anything like that. there is a lot of things to do when you're bored - listen to music and sing along, dance to the music, sing AND dance to the music, draw, play on a games console, watch a film or TV, play an instrument (if you have any), if you like a sport - practice it in your garden (if you have a garden). Or you could take the immature route and do silly things that are sure to make you giggle such as: . Watch a film whilst it is on mute, and do a silly commentary of it. . Listen to music that you don't like and pretend to be the stereotype of people who listen to that music, (example - listen to a rapper and pretend to be a gangster, listen to heavy metal and pretend to be a mosher, etc.) I'm sure that's enough for you
i am open to all kinds of music and like at least one song in each catagory, but i really like alternative rock and punk rock the best because i think, generally speaking, that that kind of music has better lyrics and it takes more talent to play a guitar, bass, or drum set, then it does to rap, or sing with a synthesizer
Pathos of MusicThe lyrics and the mood of a song can alter your mood. If you listen to emotional songs like Russian Roulette, you could get emotional. When you listen to "Walking on Sunshine," you might get put into a happy mood. That's why some people like music, but others don't.
Sentimental music is music that triggers an emotional response. If a child seems happier or sadder when listening to the Barney song then that music is sentimental to that child. Say you and your mate loved a particular song, a song that in time made both of you feel better, happier, and in time it made you also feel nostalgic. Then if you lose that mate, the song may have the opposite effect, making you feel sad. In each case the song is sentimental but depending on circumstance can cause a different emotional response.
Why do people like music? Because it sets the mood.
Well people who listen to or like music does not have a specific name but the people who make the music if called musicians.
Almost all people like music, including gay people. But there are some that don't.
The dumbing of the masses (along with TV & a lot of the internet). It makes folks sentimental & stupid. The young want to be like their pop stars they see & hear. They will dress like them & buy stuff that the pop stars say is good. Pop music is a business.
Mostly, how the music industry brainwashes you, is through peer pressure. They make music seem very popular to get people to like the music and then this causes a chain even when people don't like the music because when they see they're friends like this music, the people that didn't like the musicstart to get into it too otherwise music would just be words that people ignore.
Some people like aggressive music.
It depends on what music you like or don't like. Not everyone likes the same kind of music.
I like hiphop music and i would probably say something like 70% of people like pop
Because different people like different types of music - & her poppy music is very catchy.
