I'm not sure about 'lowest' but most irrational and ridiculous - maybe. We kill for no reason, we pollute when we know it will be our inevitable downfall, we fail to prepare when we know what to expect. We are out of control, we have no regard for other people's wellbeing, just go through life being selfish and regretting decisions in our lives, that are in the past and are irreversible. It's totally bizarre. We should take some time, realise our goals and try to achieve them, if we fail, get up and try again. Just laugh alittle let go, after all, it eventually ends for everyone, so we may as well make the most of what we've got - even if it's very little, maybe only even each other, but that should, in my opinion be enough.
