i think it does, as low self esteem people tend to cover up there problems and work so hard at trying to make people like them so for instans if a low eseem person was to (mix with the wrong crowd) he/she would constantly be tyring to impress his/her mates so if they asked him/her to do stupid things he/she would do it to look good.
