Self-esteem is how mentally healthy you are -- how realistically you view yourself, plus things like self-confidence and mental image. Self-awareness is the knowledge that you are an individual living thing, separate from all others on the planet.
Self-awareness is important because it allows people to better understand who they are as individuals. It can help people make better decisions, and have healthier relationships.
Key areas of self-awareness include understanding one's emotions, thoughts, beliefs, strengths, weaknesses, values, and motivations. Developing self-awareness can lead to personal growth, improved decision-making, and better interpersonal relationships.

Self-awareness is the capacity to look inward and understand our own feelings, emotions, stressors, and personality
self-awareness is when you understand yourself and your feelings and habits. With self awareness you get over things faster but I believe there are no consequences. it all depends on the person and their attitude about it. If people say you have too much self-awareness and it's making you anxious, to me, it's not that, you can be self-aware and engulfed with yourself or think too much about yourself. My mom says I know more about me than most adults do, I'm 17, and I only use it when I'm breaking a habit or how I'm treating people. I just do it.

Social self-awareness is important because it allows individuals to understand their own emotions and behaviors in social situations. This awareness helps in building stronger relationships, resolving conflicts effectively, and improving communication with others. Additionally, being socially self-aware can lead to greater empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives.
