Here are some ways to keep from getting bored in class:
To stop yourself from moving on, it's important to allow yourself to process your emotions and acknowledge why you might be hesitant to move forward. Seek support from friends, family, or a therapist to help you work through your feelings. Remember that healing and growth take time, so be patient with yourself as you navigate this process.
To avoid laughing, try focusing on something serious or distracting yourself with a neutral thought. Take deep breaths and try to compose yourself. You can also try clenching your jaw or biting your tongue to stop yourself from laughing.
Stop being an enabler and too bad if she is bored. Point her in the right direction as she has too much time on her hands. She could make herself useful by volunteering at a charity or something she is interested in. Everyone can get bored at different times in their life, but, it is up to that person to rectify the problem and not up to their family and friends.
I am someone who has had difficulties with depression intermittently for thirty years. It is a medical problem and usually requires the help of a medical professional, a therapist, etc. I understand your reluctance to talk with parents ... is there a school counselor or another trusted adult that could guide you through this initial difficulty? It is probably a lonesome time but times can get better. Hopefuly you will pursue getting help . This is not your fault .. You did nothing wrong ...But please do speak with someone. I wish yu well ... David
1. Consider accepting yourself, accepting your faults either real or percieved. Consider setting reasonable goals and expectations for yourself. Consider understanding and accepting others. Acceptance leads to tolerance which leads to understanding, and if you can understand, you can learn to love those around you and yourself. 2. The only thing you should worry about is what you think of yourself, and who cares what everyone else thinks! If you can't stop then consider seeing a shrink. They just act as someone to talk to and confide in.
