well in psychology it states that there are 3 diffrent kinds of people those are , listiners , watchers , and touchers ..... and let me explain why psychology ties in with meditation ..and let me explain the differences of those 3 diffrent kinds of people and how to determine what a person is ,,,,, ok a watcher always has a good since of time , and where hes at and where hes going and when you listin to a watcher talk they usely like to say sertan phrases like "oh i SEE what your saying" or " i don't SEE this coming out right" or " it SEEms like a good plan to me" watchers always like to refer things by what they see when they talk .. and when a watch stands they always have there head tilted up so they can see there surroundings ........a listiner would say these things "oh i hear ya" , "i heard that" etc they always refer things they remember by what they hear or they describ things but what they heard more then what they saw or felt .. and they can hear good .. oh and one more thing listiners usely like to blare their radio systam alot and loves music ....and listiners usely stand with they head cocked to the side ...especcally when ur talking to them........now as for touchers they usely tend to go by what they felt about a sertan thing and they tend to say things like "i feel ya", "that's hardcore man" "it felt like",,,"i have a bad feeling about this" etc..... and they will always describ a memory about how somthing felt like ,,like if they got a new car they would boost about how soft the seats were blah blah blah ,, you get point,,,, and when they stand or walk they like to keep to themselves like with their arms crossed with their head tilted down most .. and when they walk they usely tend to look at the ground .......now since i explain what they are how they act ect im going to explain the whole meditation thingy............whenever you meditate u have sertan options . you could either meditate on your sence or sight, hearing, or feeling,, and when u build up those sences so high , like say you sence or hearing you can pretty much almost determin what a listin is thinking or what he is about to do etc...but don't get me wrong other then this ..there is PLENTY AND I MEAN PLENTY of more resons why psychology ties in with meditation i would give more examples but im tierd of typing now ....lets just say meditatation is good for your mind ....its like lifting weights but with ur mind lol,,,,,,,,,,,PS i prolly spelled alot of things wrong or i might have subsituded the wrong word for the right word but i just don't feel like fixing it later yo

Meditation in psychology is a practice that involves focusing the mind and achieving a state of calm and awareness. In mental health treatment, meditation is used to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression by promoting relaxation and mindfulness. It can help improve emotional well-being and overall mental health.

In the first place, I would not put the words "meditation" and "therapist" together. A therapist is a person trained in psychology, and s/he works with the mind. A meditator works with that which resides beyond the mind: the awareness. It is possible to find meditation classes for free or five or ten dollars per hour. In this case, the leader of the class will not make much money at all.
Numerous studies have shown that mindfulness meditation can effectively reduce stress and anxiety. Research published in journals such as JAMA Internal Medicine and the Journal of Clinical Psychology supports these findings. Additionally, meta-analyses conducted by experts in the field have also demonstrated the positive impact of mindfulness meditation on mental well-being.
