  • Confidence and self esteem are extremely important in individual's lives because if it is lacking certain individuals can avoid foods (this mostly effectives younger teens to younger women.) They can have bulimia (voiding food after gorging themselves or even eating normal meals) and can cause serious damage to the stomach prompting the stomach to force itself to purge uncontrollablyto anorexia where the individualceases to eat a well balanced meal until they become so thin their bodies begin to thrive off muscle and tissue and it can cause death. Generally both bulimic and anorexic people see their body in a different view than others see them and they are obsessed by either being fat. It only takes a sentence from someone commenting that the individual has put on too much weight and the individual in question will once again become body conscious.
