We have more gun violence today than we have had in the past 100 years, so gun violence is not currently being solved. We only have theories of how to solve it. The one that is suggested most, especially by the government and many citizens, is to ban guns from the general population. Many others believe that will only cause crime involving guns to rise.

Gun violence is addressed through a combination of legislative measures, such as background checks and restrictions on gun access, as well as community-based interventions, like violence prevention programs and mental health support. Education and awareness campaigns also play a role in promoting responsible gun ownership and safe storage practices. Collaboration between government, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and community organizations is essential for a comprehensive approach to reducing gun violence.
