If you like Psychology but want to give medications (Psychiatry), it requires at least a Bachelor's Degree in any subject (preferably in Pre-Med, Psychology, or Pharmacology), completion of medical school (4 years), and serve in a residency program at a hospital or clinic- usually for Psychiatrists, this is a four year process. For those of you keeping score, it takes at least 12 years to become a Psychiatrist.
