What is the best college to go to if you want to become a family therapist?

The best University for you to go to will the be one which meets the most of your needs. You will need to find a University which has a post-grad program in Psychology, because you really can't do much in the profession without at least a Masters, and I recommend you get a PhD if you want to specialize in family therapy.

How do you stop your family bullying you - Its not ALL your family - just your little sister and your mum they dont physically abuse you but they hurt you with words and make you depressed?

You need to be very nice to them for a couple of weeks and then if they keep being mean disconnect from them emotionally completely and give them the cold shoulder so much that they ask you whats wrong. then confront them and let them know what they have done to make you do this. If this doesn't work, minimizing your interactions with them, and find that missing love in another family memberor friend.

How does family origin influence behavior in marriage?

We are who we are from the environment we grew up, but if we don't like some of those bad qualities in most families we have the control to change that in our own personalities. If some people come from an abused family they can carry those traits through their own life. Men or women from such families could grow up mistreating their spouses or their own children. If a person comes from a normal family background chances are they will be the same towards their spouse, but, sometimes people from a normal background can become abusive in their own right as well without any provocation from family. If one comes from a happy childhood background with lots of love and support then they are more apt to have the most successful relationships. It doesn't matter if one is rich or poor. A rich family doesn't mean you are going to be any better an individual as a person coming from a poor family. Often the rich kids are brought up by nannies or ignored and simply given money to keep them busy, and the poor families may not have much but give good quality time to their children. Race and religious views can also become a factor in a relationship working or not working.
