Depends on what type of diploma or job you are looking at. If the post is aimed at a 'qualified' professional with a postgrad diploma in child or educational psychology- unfortunately this does not equal an NVQ grade. However if this the job is assisting teaching or SEN co-ordinators then I would imagine that an NVQ would be fine! Just apply anyway!!!

If you are interested in child psychology and wish to further your career or knowlegde in the area I would recommend considering university, as this will open up more pathways in psychology than NVQs can currently offer. Although training to be an educational psychologist is a long process (which unfortunately requires minimun of 6 years to train), it is certainly worth it- and ed psychs are needed!

No, a diploma in child psychology is not equivalent to an NVQ Level 3 qualification. NVQ Level 3 is a specific type of vocational qualification that demonstrates a certain level of competency in a particular skill or field, while a diploma in child psychology focuses on theory and practical applications in the field of child psychology.

What is the difference between a national n diploma and a diploma from university.?

The main differences between the National Diploma(ND) and the 1st Diploma are that the 1st Diploma is Level 2 in IT Qualifications, acheiving Starred Distinction in this course will almost automatically get you a place on the next level, which is the ND Level 3. The 1st Diploma fully completed to a Merit/Distiction Level is equivalent to A* in ICT. The ND, fully completed to DDD(Distinction in all Units) is equivalent to 3 A-Levels.The other main differences are:The 1st Diploma consists of 9 Unit's, whereas the ND consists of 18 Units.1st Diploma is 1 year long, whereas the ND is 2 years long.I know this because i have done the 1st Diploma and i am now currently completing my 2nd year in the ND.Hope this helped you.
