I'd say it's pretty indifferent, urine leaving the body is sterile so it certainly won't do you any harm, however as it's your bodys waste product I don't think it will have many good effects as your body will have already taken most of the goodness and nutrients out of the liquids before it was turned into urine.

Drinking your own urine is generally not recommended. While some believe it may have health benefits, it can actually introduce harmful substances back into your body and lead to dehydration. It's important to stay hydrated by drinking clean water instead.

What is the existentialist concept of human nature?

Existentialism posits that human nature is defined by individual freedom, choice, and responsibility. It emphasizes the idea that individuals create their own essence through their choices and actions, rather than being defined by external factors. Existentialists believe that humans must confront the inherent meaninglessness and absurdity of existence and create their own values and meanings in a world without inherent purpose.

Does drinking the urine of another person help you to lose weight?

Urine therapy is about drinking your ownfiltered urine. It is based on the "Law of Similars" (but without homeopathic dilution) therefore it is not about drinking the urine of another person. I have not yet heard of urine therapy being used in relation to weight loss.

Is drinking urine good for you?

Drinking Urine Not Recommended, No. There is no sound medical evidence to support drinking urine. As a point of interest, there are those who do drink their own urine and claim it has health benefits. Additionally, in an emergency situation, it's possible to drink one's urine as a temporary means of holding off dehydration- though this cannot be done indefinitely and certainly is not recommended. Urine is waste the body doesn't want. Urine only contains only about 5% of Urea (the actual waste product your body produces) the rest is mainly just water, so it is safe to drink in case of extreme emergencies, and it may have to be forced into you, and you should avoid drinking it anyway.

How long can you live only drinking your urine?

No, You're better off drinking clean water and getting vitamins and minerals from other sources. There is a lot of negative things in urine whose risk would far out weigh any benefit you could get from drinking your own pee.

What benefits would there be if you did drink your own urine?

If you have recently drank a quantity of treated water, then maybe the first time you drink your own urine it would be fairly diluted and might not harm you. But every time you drink your own urine without replenishing your intake of pure water the salts and other minerals in the urine becomes less and less diluted and more concentrated and will eventually severely dehydrate you and possibly kill you. For this reason very few survival experts recommend drinking urine.

Does sucking your own sweat help against dehydration?

No, drinking your own sweat would not stave off dehydration. Since sweat is so salty, it would be like drinking ocean or salt water, which dehydrates you more. If you are in a situation in which there is no fresh water, or in which you cannot make a fire and boil water, your best option is to drink your own urine. ________________________ I must disagree with the above answer: Drinking your own sweat (if you could collect it in sufficient quantity) would indeed help protect one against dehydration, and would certainly not be harmful as would drinking ocean water. The ionic strength of sweat is much less than that of intra- and extracellular bodily fluids, making it hypoosmotic. This means that in 1ml of sweat there is much less salts than in 1ml of blood plasma, etc. Drinking your own sweat would replace water that had been lost by the body. Alternatively, drinking your own urine would not be a good idea if one were facing dehydration, as your body concentrates the salts in urine, making it hyperosmotic. This means that in 1ml of urine there is much more salt than in 1ml of blood plasma, etc. Drinking your own urine would replace salts that had been removed by the body. Do not confuse the above statements as saying that no salts are lost in sweat, as some salts are lost, many being important ions necessary for proper bodily function. This is why someone who sweats profusely (athletes) needs to consume beverages like Gatorade rather than pure water, to replenish ions. I guess if an athelete were to drink their own sweat they would replenish the ions as well as the water lost, a good thing.
