I would answer that question with another: Would a Christian go to the hospital if he was sick, or would he want healing from his preacher?
I would say that therapy and hospitals fulfill the same thing on a mental and physical level, so I think if hospitals are OK by you as a Christian, then therapy is OK as well.
The best way to go about it is short-term therapy with a competent professional. These issues are usually deep-seated enough that they are not easy to deal with by yourself, and most of your friends are likely to be too busy telling you that you're OK to shut up and allow you to work through it.
Outpatient therapy is appropriate for some patients in some circumstances. The mental health practitioners in charge of the case must make those decisions.
Now. Your question shows you are open and ready for some outside help. :)
The best University for you to go to will the be one which meets the most of your needs. You will need to find a University which has a post-grad program in Psychology, because you really can't do much in the profession without at least a Masters, and I recommend you get a PhD if you want to specialize in family therapy.
1. Your friend convince you to do a drug telling you "It's OK or that no one will know I will not tell." 2. You skip school and go do something you have no business doing but your friend says its alright so you go ahead and do it anyways.
Sin is something that can only occur on earth, and is something that Christians believe all people have committed. In heaven, there is no sin, because it is God's kingdom and only those without sin can enter. Christians also believe that because of the Fall of Adam and Eve, all humans are born with an inclination toward sin, that they will lose when they go to heaven, so they will not want to - nor actually sin.
Yes people in London do go trick or treating but christians don't.So if you are a christian do not do it because it is against Gods law it is a SIN. Many Christians go, there is nothing wrong with it.
Jesus was the Messiah; Sinners go to Hell, while Christians who ask for forgiveness walk with God in the Afterlife; Sin is punishable by death; Ask God for forgiveness for sin and you will be spared.
Christians try to sin as little as possible. they try to behave the ten commandments at all times. some go to chruch.
Depending on the type of light therapy, people can either go to the hospital for light therapy or to the dermatologist. Both are acceptable places to go to because they both have the correct equipment for this therapy.
If you are not ordered to go to therapy, then you do not legally have to go to therapy. It is suggested that you do if others suggest it to you because it is for the good of you and your surrounding family and friends.
Monster is another word for sin. We all sin, and we don't like it, So sometimes that sin makes you feel like a monster, and no matter where you go, it will be there. But since Jesus died on the cross for our sins, we don't have to die for our sins. We all have a monster within!
uh... yeah I believe it depends on your religion. Many Christians believe it to be so, but Wiki Answers shouldn't be a place to judge religion. Religion is an opinion.
It depends. Many Christians would say yes, many would say no. It used to be a celebration of magic, witches, spellcraft, etc. But it depends how you celebrate it. If you just dress up as say, an elephant and go around trick or treating and have nothing to do with all those evil practices then sure, go have fun, but just be careful.
have to
In order for me to understand my emotions, I have to go to therapy.
Muslims go to Mosques and Christians go to churches.
