Yes and no. Yes, because what they have done to another person is now being done unto themselves; otherwise known as the "Eye for an eye" philosophy. Some can argue no because it is inhumane or cruel to kill another person. Also, one could also argue that a person can change or that it is a sin to kill someone that has a chance to repent or to apologize honestly for their actions.

Is kiLling onE's self a murder or suicide?

I'd imagine that to kill one's self would be suicide. Even if one were speaking philisophically, the death of one's conciousness or physical being by that same person would fit the definition of "suicide" and not "murder," which is to kill another living thing. Unless the person in question is somehow separate from their physical body or conciousness (and I don't see how that's possible), it would be suicide in any way.

How do you punish your girlfriend for lying?

If you want to punish her, you don't love her. Punishment is a form of domination, not love. So if you don't trust her, you need to find out why. Move on, brother, you don't know what love is yet. She's not worth it, and you need to look inside yourself to find out why you want to be the boss of another human being. The path you're on now will lead to abuse, so stop and think now before you become a physical abuser.

Do people murder because they are mad?

There can be many reasons why people commit murder, including anger, but it is usually a combination of various factors such as mental illness, substance abuse, environmental stressors, or personal history of trauma. While anger can be a contributing factor, it is often more complex than simply being mad.

What is the definition of capital murder?

"The unlawful killing of another human being without justification or excuse." This is potentially the law of Arkansas. I don't know. However, capital murder varies greatly by state. Typically, it is premeditated killing. Then, the jury can decide in sentencing whether they should punish with the state's 1st degree murder non-capital or their capital. There is typically no real definition and it is just a crapshoot.

Why is the death penalty a public concern?

I would be worried if it were not. We do need to think long and hard about murdering a human being. That is what the death penalty is, murder. It should never be taken lightly, and like the subject of abortion, there seems to be no right or wrong, just each person's 'inner voice' telling them what is the right thing for the individual. There does seem to be that at times the death penalty is the only fit punishment, depending on the particular crime. It has nothing to do with revenge, but with justice. There are cases that demand the 'ultimate price'. I see a day when all capital murder cases may defere the death penalty if not backed by DNA evidence. But we're not there yet. A Point missed In no country nor under any law is the death penalty classed as murder. Murder is killing someone illegally. After due process if someone is put to death it is an execution, carried out legally.

Is killing another human being always considered murder?

Is murder a human rights violation?

Most certainly. Murder is the killing of a human being by a human being. I am excluding war in this answer. Premeditated murder is one that is planned beforehand with the sole purpose of ending another's life.Murder is indeed a violation of human naturalrights, as said by John Locke, "Life (of which murder is violating by taking away that life), liberty, and land."Murder is also a violation of human legal rights, as murder is against the law and is almost always condemned to very high sentences such as 25-life or in extreme cases the death penalty.
