yes, because selfish means that you want everything your way and you dont share. But spoiled means your parents/carers or anyone gives you your way and everything you ask for.
Self-obsessed is when somebody cares more about themself than other people. Selfish is being greedy, or hording something, money for instance. These two are very different. Actually, I would think they are generally the same. To me when a person is selfish they are also self obsessed and vice verse. There is such a wide range of things that one can be selfish or obsessed about and the question was the difference between self-obsessed so the answer is nothing. A selfish person is "selfish" and a "self" obsessed person is "selfish". To me they are the same thing. Its anything that has to do with that person that's usually what rules their world. These type people are also greedy, very needy, attention seekers and usually extremely narcissistic.
SPOILED They can be spoiled, oppositional, or they can be are stubborn.

In the Disney film it's a curse to punish the Prince for being spoiled and selfish. His outer appearance was changed to reflect his inner behavior.
Saying, "You don't give" is blaming someone for not sharing and being selfish. When you say, "I won't give," you are deciding that you will not give something, and you have your own reason NOT to...
To be selfish is a learned behavior beyond the ages of 2-4 years old. A 2 year old is often selfish because they have not developed enough to know the difference, but an adult who is selfish is learned behavior. They have learned in their life that if they want something or act a certain way they get what they want. This is often being selfish.
difference between human being & human person?
The biggest difference between a narcissist and someone who's simply selfish and immature is a feeling of empathy and remorse. Pointing out to someone who's just immature that they're being selfish often causes them to feel bad about hurting others, while narcissists don't get that same reaction, and if they do feel bad, they feel bad that their actions have reflected negatively on their image.

what is the difference between being board "eligible" and board "certified" ?
Your being selfish!
to be selfish or greedy.
Wow, I have never heard of this abuse before, but I will try to answer the question. You do not tell a difference because there is none. Why even put an "abuse" label on it? A person who is greedy and selfish is going to spend the money on themselves regardless of their spouse's needs, causing the spouse to go without. I suppose it would then be sensible to label it "monetary abuse," but I would just leave it as being married to a greedy and selfish person.
