While the origins and developmental history of Psychology may not be of use to those training for careers in Hospitality or Tourism positions, many practical benefits may be derived from an introduction to 'Applied Psychology,' particularly where such a course is designed to provide psychological insights into the people, relationships, and situations that such career-positions typically involve.
