Remembering that everything changes - that "this too shall pass". Life is like a movie: there are happy scenes and sad scenes, but that's what makes it so interesting. Knowing that the worse it gets, the funnier and more compelling the story will be when I tell it to friends later. Not sweating the small stuff, and it's all small stuff. Knowing that it's not what happens to you that matters, it's what you make of it, and you can make something good out of anything if you try. Understanding that if it doesn't kill you, it'll make you stronger, or have more character, or more compassion for others. Knowing that you are truly lovable!!
