Being emo has nothing to do with being depressed. Emo's are emotional people, and yes, in most cases they dont have many good things in their life, but in others its just a way of living. Emo is short for emotional, not always depressed, but, un afraid to express ALL their emotions. Thats where emo poetry and drawings come from. The fact that they all wear black is a choice. Emo isnt a style, and your very much disliked in the emo community if you think it is. They listen to similar music, BECAUSE, that music is other people expressing themselves whne going through problems similar to people in our everyday lives.
