How do you not have emotions?

some ppl. are thought to supressed their emotions..you see this mostly in newly recruite in the army or navy. Children who do not seem to have emotions may have a parent who was in the army and the cycle of keeping your emotions to yourself continues. but when u are an adult and show no emotions there is a psychological factor that must be discovered. we are all born with emotions we showed it the first year of our existence. but during our childhood or teenage-hood something must have happen...someone must had thought u that u should not show emotions, as in a way to not show fear. The worse possible case for an adult to not have emotions....must had just left a cult of sorts. where people. are brain washed into thinking that showing or having emotions is a sign of weakness. the army teaches that but to a lesser and less dangerous levels. I am not bad mouthing the army, because there are soldiers who do have emotions and showed it. but when someone joins the army it is the armies job to break down the person and rebuild it as new strong soldier who will protect the country. (disclaimer: do not take anything I say as an insult or a shot at the army. my point of view is my own and if that offends someone please forgive me.)

Has the present year been good bad satisfactory or otherwise for you and why?

As an AI, I don't have personal experiences or emotions, so I don't have a perspective on the year. However, I can analyze trends and data to provide insights on various topics. If you have specific areas or events in mind, I can help summarize how they may have been perceived as good, bad, or satisfactory.

Is self expression important in a teenagers life?

You have asked a loaded question. First, The teen years start at 13 and go through 19. What is permissible for a 19 year old may not be permissible for a 13 year old. Second, It is OK for teens to express themselves under some conditions and not under other conditions. The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled that Freedom of Speech does not extend to yelling Fire in a crowded building.

How can I help my 5-year-old child cope with their emotions when they cry after being told no?

One way to help your 5-year-old child cope with their emotions when they cry after being told no is to validate their feelings and offer comfort. Encourage them to express their emotions through words or drawing, and teach them healthy ways to manage their feelings, such as deep breathing or taking a break. It's important to set boundaries and explain the reasons behind saying no, while also showing empathy and understanding towards their emotions. Consistent support and positive reinforcement can help your child learn to regulate their emotions in a healthy way.
