"Morita Therapy is an excellent psychotherapy for solving troubles in neurosis (nervousness). This is the psychotherapy that was created by Dr. Shoma Morita, a professor emeritus of Jikei University School of Medicine around 1920. His theory of neurosis is now world renowned.

Morita's theory explains basic human desires and fears and the mechanism of feelings in a scientific fashion. It then proceeds to provide a means to overcome neurosis by educating the mind to "take things as they are." Thus, it may be called "reeducation" as to how to live well."

Morita Psychotherapy is a form of Japanese psychotherapy founded by Shoma Morita. It emphasizes acceptance of emotions and the importance of taking action in spite of them, rather than trying to directly control or eliminate them. The therapy focuses on promoting self-awareness, self-acceptance, and mindfulness in daily life.
