What is the manager role?
first of all i would say a successful manager have to be selfdisciplined, responsible and presentable.he must also be positive, enthusiastic and a good listener. A manager of a reputed company must be able to work well with people and must have leadership abilities. He must persevere in helping the company to achieve its goals. Excellent communication skills are of critical importance.For a manager, he should first focus on the basic elements of the management which are planning,organising,staffing,directing, communicating and control. first and formost the logic of group formation.Second,it occurs as a corollary, no single person could perform the different activities, the limitation would be physical,intillectual and skill.Third reason is efficiency and economy.it is simply but a "division of labour" a vast theory given by a famous sociologist Max Weber and later taken by Adam Smith.The job (role) of a project manager is extremely challenging and thereby exciting. Depending on the organizational structure of your organization, you may be reporting to a functional manager, a program manager, a portfolio manager, or to some other manager or executive. Nevertheless, it is your responsibility to work with your team and other relevant individuals and groups, such as program managers and portfolio managers, to bring all the pieces together and make the project happen i.e., to achieve the project objectives.To do this, you need a range of skills and capabilities.
