Native Americans have and still are stereotyped in many ways. These stereotypes have been largely perpetuated by Hollywood and sports teams. Probably the most glaring of stereotypes is the way Indians are supposed to look. Indians range from blond and blueeyed to black haired and brown eyes and everything in between. Some are short, some tribes are very tall. Most actually have pale skin but can have very dark skin. The variables are as numerous as there are tribes.
Housing is another stereotype. Tribes lived with what was most feasible for their area. Today they live as any other American.
Traditions and beliefs vary per tribe or even clan.
