Archetype- A model for what a certain group should be like.
Stereotype- An overgeneralized model (both negative and positive) for what something is like. A stereotype is sort of a shortcut for the brain. A stereotype is a widely held but oversimplified belief about a particular group of people. A character stereotype is when a fictional character conforms to a simplistic or predictable portrayal based on societal norms or expectations.
Becoming an archetype involves embodying certain characteristics or qualities that are widely recognized and accepted. While it may not be "easy," individuals can cultivate and express these traits through self-awareness, consistent actions, and intentional behaviors to align with the archetype they seek to embody. It requires dedication and effort to establish oneself as an archetype.
