this mean something has learnt like a cat has learnt to climb up trees

Answer

It is behavior learned from the person's environment. For example, if the parents behave badly in front of their children, the children learn from it and carry the bad behavior on into adulthood. If the parents do drugs in front of the children, the children will do drugs. If the parents fight and carry on in front of the children, the children will carry the behavior they learned from their parents into adulthood. If the parents have no manners, the children will have no manners.

Examples of innate and learned behaviour?

Innate behavior is instinctual and present at birth, such as a spider spinning a web or a bird migrating. Learned behavior is acquired through experience or observation, such as a dog being trained to sit on command or a child learning to ride a bike.

What is the difference between innate and learned behavior?

innate behavior is a behavior that is inherited through genes, or behavior that does not need to be learned, such as blinking, and breathing, or the fight or flight response. while learned behavior must be taught or learned such as talking, or walking, and things like that.

Why might a learned behavior change?

A learned behavior might change due to new experiences or information that challenge the old behavior's usefulness or effectiveness. Additionally, changes in external circumstances or the environment may require adapting the behavior to better suit the new situation. Finally, personal growth and development can lead to a change in values, attitudes, or beliefs, prompting a shift in learned behaviors.

Who said that all behaviors are learned?

Psychologist B.F. Skinner is often associated with the belief that all behaviors are learned through conditioning, particularly through his work on operant conditioning. Skinner argued that all behavior can be explained by the environmental factors that shape it, without the need to account for internal mental states.

What is the definition of acquired behavior?

Acquired behavior refers to learned behaviors that an individual develops through experiences, interactions, and observations in their environment. These behaviors are not genetically inherited but are instead shaped and modified over time.

the correct term is learned behaviour, such as in pavlovian theory.inate behaviour is one that the species already does naturally, such as blinking,a learned behaviour is something done as a result of a previous, or multiple previous occourances and learning from these, such as the example of the learned behaviour study used initially in pavlovian therom..that of a dog learning to salivate upon the ring of a bell after the bell previously being rung in the same time period of the persentation of food.the salivating with food is an inate behaviour, the salivation upon the bell being rung was a learned behaviour.
