money and/or something of monetary value.
Behavior is indicative of the mind's processes and actions. To say "the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior" does not consider that people evolve and hopefully learn from their mistakes. While It is true that the vast majority of people are hamsters on their treadmill of life, many people are able to make great changes.
There are many unnecessary, aggressive behaviors. Rape and bullying are among the first to come to mind. We could also include most crimes, cutting people off on the highway, and people who start trouble with strangers. So most forms of aggression outside of self-defense are unnecessary.
Use value or functional value is the perceived value of goods or services to a customer because the goods/services do what they are supposed to do in the way they do it. Thus a vacuum cleaner that cleans better than another has higher functional value - most customers would be willing to pay more for it, Esteem value is the value of goods or servcies according to the status they afford to the buyer/user. Thus, many customers will pay more for a branded item of clothing because they want to 'wear the name' - they feel it gives them some status a non-branded item would not.
Yes. Many people will make fun of you throughout life. It is an ongoing item that will hurt you at any moment possible. Feeling ashamed will put you down, making you sad, depressed, stressed, and even mad. Helping it is usually easy. Suicide is never the answer. Some people sleep, walk through nature, paint pictures, hangout with friends, go shopping, explore childhood memories, ect. Humiliations can happen many times in public. The Sacred Art of Stealing has 416 pages.
They may not be any prison time depending on the item that was stolen and how it was stolen. Also depends on what state and if you have ever been charged with theft before or if this is your first offense.

Stealing affect MANY more people than just the person you stole from - for example... 1) Someone stole a jacket from a department store. The cost of that jacket HAS to be recovered, and the easiest way to recover the lost money is from the legitimate customers, by increasing their prices to recover the cost of the item. 2) A mugger steals a persons wallet in the street. The victim may then be too scared to go outside, possibly losing his job, which impacts not only on him but the company he worked for (they will have to recruit a replacement)
A lot.
Lets see, there is the stealing of money, like fraud or embezzlement, the stealing of goods, like a car, there is the stealing of ideas, such as somebodies idea for a book. That's all I can think of.
